A new company built the direct way

Martinez Licona Construction is an owner-operated painting, flooring, and general remodeling company founded by Ober Martinez, serving the Charlotte, NC area. Before starting the business, Ober built his reputation the traditional way — through word of mouth, one job leading to the next referral.

That's still how we approach every project: show up, do the work carefully, and let the results speak for the next job. We're a small operation by design right now — when you call, you're talking directly to the person who will be on-site running your project, not a dispatcher or a call center.

We work comfortably in English or Spanish, and we're upfront about what a project actually needs before we start — including telling you when something's outside what we'd recommend, rather than saying yes to every ask just to close the job.
